Fernando Landeros

In 2013, Fernando received the “Eduardo Neri and Legislators of 1913” Medal for Civic Merit from Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies and in 2017, the King of Spain personally honored him with the 2016 Queen Letizia Award for the Prevention of Disabilities.  Since 2001, the publication “Líderes Mexicanos” has named Fernando as one of the 300 most influential leaders of Mexico.

Fernando Landeros graduated with a degree in law from the Universidad Iberoamericana and has studied Political Philosophy at Harvard, holding a Masters in Humanities and History of Mexico from Universidad Anáhuac.  In 2006, Universidad Anáhuac granted him a Doctorate Honoris Causa in Humanities and in 2019, the Universidad ORT México conferred a Doctorate Honoris Causa upon him for his tireless work for persons with disabilities.
